Saturday night we went to the drive in movie again with some friends (Derek, Lisa, Katie, and Kyle). We had such a great time as we were there to see Wall-e and Kung Fu Panda. We saw Wall-e but the kids couldnt make it past the first movie due to the fact that the first movie doesn't start until after the sun goes down and it is almost comletely dark.
We had an air mattress set up in the back of the Expedition and what a fun time that was for the kids. As grown ups we had a fun time as well, as the fellowship with the Rude's is always very enjoyable.
If you ever have the chance, and have kids you must try the drive in. The web site is http://www.theshowboatdrivein.com/. It is located about 10 miles west of Tomball on FM2920. We didnt get alot of photos as we were so busy having fun. Hope you enjoy the few we got.

Cheetah Team Party
Today we had the end of season party for Taylor's T-Ball team. It was to be a pool party, however that was not in God's will. However these kids are optomists and even thought the pool was closed, we soon learned from them that they had even more fun playing in the rain. It was so much fun to watch, and everyone had a really great time.
So thanks for the memories Cheetah's. We love you and will miss you. Our prayers will always be with you and your families. Hope to see you again soon!
Go Mighty Mighty Cheetah's!
God Bless,

Goodbye T-Ball
Well yesterday was Taylor's last T-Ball practice and Saturday will be here last game. It is always a sad time for us as we have to say goodbye to old friends, as well as new one's. We do hold on to the fact that we as well as Taylor have made so many new friends, much of whom we feel we will keep forever.
So just as YMCA sports were a really great thing for me as I was growing up, so too have they been for Taylor and soon Will as he will start soccer at the age of 3. Sports are such a great way to teach kids the core values that will last them a lifetime.
So to the Cheetah's, this year has been so much fun watching each of you grow, learn, and play. Coach Jeff and I will miss each and every one of you, and especially our team huddles where we learned so much about you. We hope to see many of you back in the Fall for soccer. Your the best Cheetah's! Way to go!
Coach Tim

Our Expedition Has A Sick Sense of Humor
Well, it goes something like this. Funny yet true story.
Today our Ford Expedition's passenger side window went down during a rainy day and then decided that it didn't want to go back up. We got home from a day of shopping, already as tired as we could be, and I proceeded to take apart both the front doors to see if I could figure out how to disengage the motor so I could roll it up manually. This would have allowed us to leave it outside. I tried to do this so that we wouldn't have to clean out our garage which basically has no hope.
The door experiment did not work after about three hours of trying. So we decided at about 11:00pm that we would clean the garage so that we could get it inside due to the window still being down. Carey was not to happy about the prospect of this to say the least, but like a trooper she got right in there and helped me. It was daunting work especially after what had already been a very long day.
So we get the garage done, and after about 6 tries of attempting to get the truck in, we succeeded! Then came the fun part.
After I got the truck into the garage, I started to get ready to figure out how I was going to climb out of it with all of the things that were closely around it and presto! I hit the window buttons (all of them just by habit) and the freaking thing went up! I could not believe after all we had been through the thing just suddenly decides to start working again. I had to laugh. I joked with Carey and told her that it was really working the entire time, and that it was just a cleaver way to con her into helping me clean the garage. She didn't think that was very funny. We ended up leaving the truck outside anyway. All that work for naught.
Our expedition has a sick sense of humor.

Anna Claire's Birthday
Saturday was Anna Claire's 2nd birthday party (Carey and Tim's Niece, Tim's sister's daughter). She is the sweetest little girl you could ever meet. Of course I'm a bit biased as she is my only niece. Still we love seeing her, and now that they have moved from Beaumont to The Woodlands, we get to see them even more. The party was so much fun, and we all had a great time. Seems as though Taylor and Will's gift (a purse with feaux make up) was the hit of the party. Once she opened it, she didn't have much interest in anything else. Notice how she is putting on the lipstick, and painting her toenails in the pictures.
Happy Birthday Anna Claire!! We Love You!!
