Easter

Well the Easter Bunny has come and gone. Here are a few of the great memories that were left behind. This was Will's first year to be old enough to hunt eggs so he was very excited! We hope you enjoy the pictures from this very special time. Due to our faith Christmas and Easter are very special times at Fort Thompson, and we make sure the kids understand the importance of both of them.

Camping was a BLAST!

Well, Carey did survive the camping trip after all. She's not big on camping by the way. I think it helped that we stayed in a cabin with TV, refrigerator, ac and heat, as well as a bathroom.

Not only did Carey enjoy it, but the kids and I had alot of fun too. We got to fish, play games like horseshoes, washers, frisbee, jenga, and golf just to name a few. Carey and Taylor really enjoyed the fishing believe it of not. The first fish Taylor caught totally on her own was actually a pretty good size catfish as you will see in the pictures.

One of Taylor's favorite things to do was to go on a ride in the ranger (polaris). She just loved the wind in her hair and the bumps that we drove over. She also had a blast just playing and feeding the ducks.

I enjoyed the Bass fishing which is my favorite, and landed some pretty big ones. Carey liked fishing for catfish and caught several pretty good size ones although the really big one she had got away. She tried repeatedly to catch it again, but as I told her the big one usually always gets away. Just as the first Bass I hooked which was so big he snapped of my 12 pound test line like a toothpick. Of course, he also got away.

We hope you enjoy the pics from our Spring Break vacation.
