We Made It!!

Ike came and went, and we are still here! We went to Corpus Christi last night to pick up a generator my father in law was able to find for us. Thanks Pappaw! We got home today and took all our boards down and fired up the generator as we are still without power. We do have water now however we are not sure we can drink it yet. Thankfully we have a window ac unit so we at least will be cool, can power our fridge, and even watch the Cowboys! You know how important in our home that is.

We have several friends who have severe damage to their homes as trees crashed into and through their roofs. However, thankfully they are all safe and sound. We thank all of you for your prayers, and ask that you continue to pray for all of those in and around our area as many are without food and shelter. The Texas coast from Beaumont to Wharton suffered severe damage. We saw much of this first hand during our trip to Corpus.
