Friday Frustrations - Surgery

ConversationsWithMoms:Every day Conversations with a Mom Blog

Is there really anything more frustrating that having to have surgery? Im guessing its at the top. Here is me before the surgery, somewhat relaxed as it was still very early and I had been given something to relax me not that I needed it.

And now afterwards. As I am still very drugged and in ALLOT of pain. Yes, this was VERY frustrating. I hated feeling this way. I am still in some pain but no where near what I was during this video and soon thereafter at home.

Thanks again to all of you who have kept me in your thoughts and prayers. It means more than you will ever know.

Now head on over to Conversations With Moms to see more Friday Frustrations!

Friday Frustrations

ConversationsWithMoms:Every day Conversations with a Mom Blog

If you would like to play along with Friday Frustrations please go see one of my great friends E over at Coversations with Moms!

It wasnt long ago that we traveled to see Carey's parents and most importantly see our newest neice get dedicated. We had all so looked forward to this event and getting to see eveyone.

It didn't go as planned and still has me frustrated till this day. I ended up getting a stomach virus the evening we got there and was not able to attend the ceremony. :( It just made me sick, as if I wasnt already. That was just the worst. I mean its bad enough getting sick when your not at home, but missing something that is so important to you was just unbearable.

This was SOOOO frustrating and I still feel bad about it to this day. Here are some of the pics I was able to take before I felt so bad I couldnt move. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Lindsay, Nate, and Addison we miss you guys so much and cant wait to see you again. I am so sorry that I had to miss the big day. I so wish I could have this weekend back.

Please click on each image to get a better view, and see just how beautiful our niece is!

Friday Frustrations

I'm joining in with Maria @ Conversations with Moms this week for her Friday Frustrations carnival. This is a brand new carnival were you are to express one or many frustrations that you might have. It gives you a great opportunity to vent, and we all know we need that from time to time.

If you would like to join in, click on one of the links and grab the button for your post and then add your blog to Mr. Linky. Maria is a great gal and you can see her in Vlogemotions.

My frustration this week was with my daughter. She just lost one of her front top teeth and the other is about to fall out. Call me soft or whatever you will, but these moments when my little girl is loosing her baby smile really frustrates me.

I know that it is somewhat of a momentous occasion, but I cant help but be sad thus my frustration. I just want her to stay little forever. I was working with her on pulling that tooth tonight and lets just say that I didn't get it done. Nor did I want to. As soon as she looses that second top front tooth her baby smile will be gone forever. I was tearing up just thinking about what I was doing. She was the one that should have been tearing up right? But all I can see as I hold her in my arms is not a little girl that is a bit scared of the possible pain of loosing this tooth, but the grown lady I hold in my arms as I dance with her that last time at her wedding.

So going off to school for the first time, loosing teeth, learning how to swim, scoring her first soccer goal, while I am extremely proud of the young lady she is becoming I am still a bit sad.

This to me is a bit frustrating as I can do NOTHING to stop it.

Love and Prayers,
