Hullabaloo Caneck Caneck

The Lady Aggies have made it to the Finals of the Women's College World Series against Arizona State! They played the first of three games last night but lost 3-0. They still have two more games, so make sure you watch and cheer for the Aggies. The next game is tonight at 7:00pm on ESPN2. Go Lady Aggies!

Meanwhile, the Aggie Boys Baseball team defeated U of Houston 13-5 yesterday and got into the Super Regionals! This was their second year in a row to win the regional title. They will play Rice next at the Super Regionals in a best of three series. Game one is scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday on ESPNU, so keep an eye on them as well as they seek to win a National Championship also. Wouldn't it be great if they both won? Whoop!

Memorial Day Weekend

This past Memorial Day Weekend some friends of ours came over and we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for the kids. We had a great time. Derek, Lisa, Katie, and Kyle Rude are friends that we have had since Taylor's first soccer season. They are really great people and we truly enjoy their company.

Taylor and Katie made ice cream and had so much fun! Will and Kyle spent most of their time in the backyard driving into the house, the fence, and whatever else got in their way. It was so much fun to watch. Katie is very close in age to Taylor as Kyle is very close in age to Will, so they very much enjoy the chance to play together.

After all the outdoor fun we all came inside and played Rockband! It is allot of fun playing in a band and trying not to get booed off the stage. Taylor is pretty good at the drums, but hasn't played the guitar yet. Katie did extremely good for her first time playing, and Lisa and Kyle I think really liked it too. Most of it was probably daddy time as Derek and I dominated the stage. We were really rocking out! If you think this sounds as corny as I do writing it, then just go and get the game and you too will see how addictive it really is.
