Your Gonna Miss This!

Ok. So here it is after allot of pressure from Pam. Seriously I needed it. This is a GREAT carnival that Pam at Your Gonna Miss This does. IF you haven't checked her out you should go there now. She has the most beautiful family and you will be so blessed by her blog just as Carey and I have been.

Your Gonna Miss This Moment is a very special carnival and if you have kids it will especially hit home. There are so many of these moments that we think about as parents knowing that they will soon be gone if not already, and there is nothing we can do to get them back. Yes it can be sad, but we take solice in knowing that they are in God's hands and their changes are all part of His plan as they grow and learn to become respected citizens of this GREAT nation in which we live.

So here are some things that I will miss and some that I already do:

I already miss Taylor's smile when she still had all her baby teeth.

She's still super cute, and will always be my baby, but I so miss all five of those teeth.

I will miss the cute and awkward way Taylor sticks here bottom out while doing ballet. We are working with her on that. I will also miss ballet.

I will miss all of the wonderful expressions of this cute little boy.

Even the kinda sad ones. Its time to go Will. This was immediately following me saying this as we needed to leave the park. I will spare you the expression that followed this one as he shared his displeasure. But just so you know, I will miss that too.

(drying tears) Geez Pam, you didn't tell me how hard this was going to be. These were the ones I thought I wouldn't get emotional over too.

So go see Pam at Your Gonna Miss This and check out all the other great posts!

This is so sweet. I know my mom probably misses a lot of those things about me, too.

I used to stick my bottom out like that in ballet! It was a bad habit of mine.

You really touched my heart this morning! Just you wait until those sweet kids of yours turn 17...you're really going to miss a lot then! Hug 'em and hold 'em tight!

Wish I'd had the time and energy to get my vlog ready for this week, but I've just been so busy preparing for our trip! I'll miss seeing all the great vlogs! Hopefully, I'll have lots to share when I get home! Take good care!

YEAH!!!!! You did it!!!! These are beautiful moments! You got us all crying!! It does get easier, remember I have had 37 weeks of practice writing these now! :) I am gonna miss that little guy's curls when/if you cut them! they are so precious! and i had never really thought about the baby tooth thing, it is so true! there is a difference! So glad you decided to join us, not like i was going to put any pressure on you, ahem... oh, and one thing i have had to add to my posts in the past, and this one brings to mind, is Dr. Suess's quote, "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!"

So sweet! And I so know what you mean about the baby tooth smiles and how much they change when they start losing teeth--yikes!

Blessings!

You are so right. My daughter is walking and I am so going to miss the little pitter patter of little feet walking all over. Walking around so innocently. Sigh... they grow up so fast.

What a great idea for a blog carnival. I've seen the image before but didn't check it out further. Maybe I need to do that.

As far as your moments you'll miss, I can certainly see why. Your children are precious. Those simple looks or way they stand are things that I'm sure you will look back on and miss. They are so precious and special. Thanks for sharing.

Those baby teeth smiles are the best! Your kids are so angelic with those blonde haloes! So beautiful. I love this meme. It makes me focus on all of the small moments that I take for granted, and knowing that they will be long sought after!

Yes, I miss those smiles with the baby teeth, too! Teeth have always been an issue with me. I handled my boys going to kindergarten just fine. But when each boy lost his first tooth, I cried for days! Weird, huh?

These are precious pictures. You and Carey have beautiful children!

Blessings,
Beth

Glad you like the "praying for the usa" image. i got the image from google and added the text to it myself. glad to share it with you! :) tried to e-mail you but it bounced back, my e-mail provider has been having problems lately, hotmail keeps rejecting them, frustrating for them and me! so, had to come here to respond! thanks for linking up, lots of your readers came over and participated!!

Tim, you must come by my blog and look for the post about my oldest son's birthday. I posted a picture from when he was about 3 years old. Looks much like your little guy. Mine is 17 now!
