Puppy Introduction and Name Contest

So today we took a big leap and decided to go ahead and get the kids a dog. Here is their reaction.

More excitement over our newest family member!

Gotta admit, this is one cute doggy!

Now on to the fun stuff! Many of you have given us suggestions for our newest family member. He is a boy doggy so use that in making suggestions for you entry into the name that doggy contest. That's right a contest! All you have to do is give us name suggestions. One name per comment and you can leave as many names as you like. Each will count as one entry.

Once we decide on a name the winner will receive a very special surprise gift. If you have ever entered a giveaway or contest here then you know it will be something good. So get to commenting and leaving your suggestions for a name.

If we do not use any of the names that are entered when we name him, then we will pick our favorite and that persons name will be the contest winner.

So go on! Name our doggy!

Love and Prayers,

Oh, Tim...I had no idea you were getting a puppy so soon...he is PRECIOUS! I love his coloring! I just know you won't regret your decision, though last night was probably a very long night. Puppies tend to whine a lot at night. It WILL get better!

OK, my name suggestion for today is Boomer.

Congratulations on becoming a father...AGAIN! :)

How about Cricket? I'll keep thinking about it!

Congrats on your new furbaby!!!!!!

I love how he settled right in to Taylor's lap! How cute!

You should totally name him:

FOZZIE

Unknown said...

Does my previous suggestion count? I still say Doug (the Dog). That's my son's dog's name. Granted, he's stuffed, but still....

Tiffany said...

Oh how cute! Gosh... I don't know about names. They all sound great so far. I like Benji a little as a reference to Pvt. Benjamin. But you could shorten it to Benny cuz he's so stinkin' cute! Okay, so Benny/Bennie is my suggestion. Have fun!!

Tim, how about Tucker?

We get our new dog, a beagle, on April 26. We are excited to welcome a new little girl to our home after losing our little girl last August.

Her name will be Ruby! So, we are preparing ourselves for a busy few months now as we prepare for lots of playing and housebreaking!!! LOL.

Tim, I was scouring the net for info this AM and found this video on working with our new puppies. I hope you don't mind me sharing it here - his tips are very important regarding socialization.

How about Charlie?

I am impressed with how gentle both of your kids were - that's such a good start!

I think you should name him "Hemi." Everyone will think it's for the powerful Hemi engine and for how he tears around as puppies do. But WE'LL know it was for what your "cancer" turned out to be and God's grace to YOU and your FAM! LOL

Tim! Thanks for visiting my site and for your comments - too fun. :) And thank you, too, for deciding to FOLLOW! I always tell people I realize time is finite. When someone signs up to follow it means they'll be back and choosing to spend some of YOUR time at my blog is very special to me. Blessings!

OH! And you have a beautiful wife and DARLING children. What smiles.

They look to be about the same spread as my two. Daughter is 18 and son is 14. YEARS of fun and still lovin' every minute of it. (Ok, I lied, there are a FEW minutes every now and then.......!)
